Hello.

I am building an 125khz RFID reader based on the many schematics on the net, mostly on microchip's RFID guide.
However, I have tried scanning 2 tags and it didn't work out at all.

EDIT : I have mistakenly reversed the PNP transistor on this schematic. It is connected correctly on the breadboard.

I am measuring the voltage at points 1 and 2.
Point1 has a good sine wave at about 20vpk-pk.
Point2 is the somewhat filtered signal.

But when I try to scan tags, nothing changes. No change at all.

I suspect that my coil is bad.
d = 10.5cm
about 110 turns
0.2mm wire

any ideas?
