Need explanation how to install VLC pler in fedora 9

Dear all,
can any body tell me how to install VLC pler in fedora 9......i m new to linux.....if i can have rpm, it will be better......

yum install vlc

UPCD and LVNCD contain a lot of tools like vlc, MPLayer, xine...
 

Open terminal and input

sudo apt-get install vlc

This will automatically download VLC from the nearest server to you.
