Can one use the NTFF transformation on the absorption cross section (with reversed normals of course)? As I move the position of my absorption flux monitors, the intensity of the absorption cross section changes. As you move further and further from the surface of the scatterer, the absorption eventually converges. Thus, I figured you could project the absorbed power to infinity (exact same procedure as NTFF for scattering). Does anyone see anything wrong with this hypothesis?
