can any body tell me what is the difference between these in more detail than is posetd in here before? I need to know what is OD exactly and how it is connected to the other resistors?

Thanks in advanced

I need to know what is OD exactly

I guess OD means Opening for Diffusion, i.e the first mask used on thick (or field) oxide (FOX), defining the areas for all transistors and diffused resistors. Very often, this mask is called active.

OD (resp. active) borders are limited - and also often subdivided - by STI .
