How to measure mutual inductance of inductive coils by doing experiment?
is it possible with oscilloscope and agilent?.
Thank you

Hi,

there are many different approaches.
One may be to use a known resistor in series, then connect it to a known fixed voltage.

Btw: you could do a little internet search on your own.

This experiment might give an idea...
Send a sudden surge of current through one inductor. Watch with a scope for response (either voltage or current) through the second inductor.

Start by connecting a low-ohm resistor across the second inductor. If voltage is barely detectable, then change to higher ohm values step by step. However not so high a resistance that voltage reaches hazardous levels.

For the first inductor add a freewheeling diode to absorb high-voltage spike when you disconnect current.
