Attached is the Software reference model of MPEG1 standard, including
"System, Video, and Audio".

It contains C model of encoder and decoder.

check out opencores.org, i think there has a video compression code available in verilog.

for mpeg standrd, check out mpeg.org

multimedia lab ....
that is a very good training material
