Is it edaboard? Are thrre bigger ones for µc?
And which on is bigger for normal electronics?
Sorry, I ask, because I'm from German, and it's not so easy to find, because many search engines are locoalized

It is somewhat difficult to answer this question, due the query could fall into a category of subjective opinion. In fact, for a beginner, considering the big amount of board options on the Web, must be hard to decide and we can even consider this a feasible question to arise.

This one, the Edaboard, has the particularity to gather a wide variety of sections into a single board, becoming a 'home' for members whom are still studying, so that can take here help for a lot of topics without the need to jump to other boards.

Even for experienced persons currently working on these technical areas, here they can get kind assistance of skilled members on that areas, quickly solving their problems.

Although there are other forums dedicated to specific subjects, at there you take the answer for the current problem, but in general you are not stimulated to keep there, because will not get answer for questions diverging from the expertise of those boards.

I will not give you my opinion, due this can be obvious, but I will give you some tips to you evaluate by yourself using let´s say, a "technical" criteria :

  • Make a search on the history threads about a specific subject, checking for successful results.
  • Assess the quality of the answers, the goodwill of the participants and knowledge level of the members.
  • Check the forum daily access statistics - this suggest better chance to get a reply soon.
  • Consider the extensive timezone audience - what means at any time certainly there are worldwide persons online watching your thread.

In short words, only you can evaluate which forum answer to your needs.
