I mean intelligent device is intelligent power transistor or thyristor or power diode
the intelligent device is protect itself from high di/dt or dv/dt
but i dont find the explaining of it in details

You should search as Solid State Relay, but power diode is not switch, and there is nothing inteligent in this devices.

For AC use triac not thyristor in solid state relays.
