[Moved]Arbitration and round robin process

Hi All,

I have four slaves like a,b,c,d. Here I am giving the priority to b,Once b is completed, then which slave it will take.(c or it will take any channels other than b)

Please clarify this doubt.

Difference b/w round robin and arbitration?

it depends on your scheduling algorithm
1. priority based - each task is given a priority - the highest priority task that can run runs to until completion or until a higher priority task can run
2. round robin - each task that can run runs for a given time then the next task that can run runs etc
you can have a layer system of various levels of priority with each level running a round robin scheduler
