Hi all.

Can anybody help me to repair my mosquito killer bat . These bats works properly 2-5 days in new condition. But after then, these can't fry mosquitoes.

I found that there is voltage in it's output terminal but not so high to fry(spark).

Can anybody say wht's the problem?

whatz it Model ?? any picture of the circuit ?? does it has any step up Transformer or capacitor trippler circuit ?? check the fuse first

There are many reasons for that.
1. Low battery
2. faulty transformer
etc

Post the circuit or photo

I guess it will be usually a chineese product which will be available for dirt cheap. Instead repairing it and using it for one week or so before another fault arrises, dont you think buying anew one will be the best solution?....Anyways, as we see the world is highly circulated with sub-quality and sub-standared electronic components and gadgets from China, frankly speaking every country is producing million tonnes of Chineese electronic junk every year which is hardly disposed of in the right way.........Cheers

Usually the problem will be the high voltage capacitors and diodes used for doubling or tripling the output voltage. But i do agree with "pranam77" s reply.

I think the insulation in the cheap Chinese transformer breaks down.

We don't have mosquitoes in my part of Canada any more because the government uses a safe chemical in drains and ponds that stops baby mosquitoes from maturing. The bats (the real alive ones) are also gone.
