Hi friends, I have designed and implemented a video sender. It worked quite alright. now iwant to incorporate some other things on the circuit, and i need your help. I want to add :
a message display when there is no signal from the player.
thank you for your help.

Basically you have two options:
1st: generate video signal (and text) by a microcontroller ..

2nd: use an off-the shelf on-screen display IC such as STV5730 ( http://www.datasheetcatalog.com/datasheets_pdf/S/T/V/5/STV5730.shtml ), µPD6450 etc. etc ..
If you feel comfortable with microcontollers you can choose the first option (more chalenging as far as software is concerned), if you don't want to "re-invent" the wheel then choose option nr.2 ..
