Modelsim 5.8c "crashes"

I have been trying to update my simulator to ModelSim SE 5.8c and ModelSim SE 6.0 and I have not being able to run a simulation, when I add the signals to the waveform window, ModelSim closes without reporting any error. I have tried the two different versions and in different PCs with W2K and Win XP and I did not succed. Any one could advice me?
I am able to compile, to load the simulation and to run it but when I add any signal it explotes in my face!!! 8O

check your l!cen$e file, i remember it's the problem of l!cen$e.
search in this forum. good luck.

well sure its license problem. Do one thing.. jes re-insert ur dongle and check ur licenses. it wud surely help you with the waveform output.. or else try to re request for a new license from mentor

the problem is that u have problem with ur license file,
recheck license file configuraton for ur software with ur PC,
