Modelsim 5.7d license problem

Hi,
Can anyone tell me why though the Modelsim SE 5.7d license wizard reports a good license file, when i'm startin Modelsim I get the following message?
"Unable to checkout a viewer license necessary for use of the modelsim graphical user interface. Vsim is closing."

What is going on?

What is going on?

Your license is not detected
1) be shure that LM_LICENSE _FILE = C:\whatever your lic.dat
2) your license should include a name for the server
SERVER (the ETHERNET ADRESS ) And the port = 1650
example SERVER 972200128 1650
3) The modeltech daemon that is going to comunicate with modelsim
this is in the modeltec5.7\win32\modeltech
example DAEMON c:\modeltech5.7\win32\modeltech

And of course the license generated FOR FOR ..The ethernet adress that you mentiones in number 2

modelsim unable to checkout a viewer license

I get the same error, but i couildn't solve it.
my license file is like this

CENSURED

the LM_LICENSE_FILE is set.

but the modeltech is at the same dir as modelsim.

/Warning #1 - do not post illegal licenses and cracks here. (klug)/

your license has not the featuer on modelsim graphical user interface

Maybe the reason is that the newer flexlm version.
I think you should get a newer license.

Your license file didnt have a vsim-viewer feature!!!

robertcheng is right!

I had the same problem, (the check pass but the program don't run)
you have to get new license!

vsim is closing

if u have done a reinstall or installed a new version in some different folder u may get this error.
try to reinstall it in the same folder. or else get in touch with mentor support.
