can anyone let me know how to do temperature measurement using microcontroller?can anyone please let me know how to do temperature measurement using MSP430?

search the board, there are many threads in the boards
 

if I remember it correctly, MSP430 has SPI and I2C ports. Then, the easiest way would be using a temp sensor with built in protocol. You can easily breadboard it and test.
 

Hello!

If you buy a launchpad, you will get a temperature measurement application, sending data via USB to a PC
window. I think that would be a good (and cheap) start. You can buy it on digikey for 4.30 $.
