Hi,
I have to choose one type of mimcap during the installation of a TSMC-PDK (90nm, low power). Available are 1.0, 1.5 and 2 fF/µm². We want to design a 24GHz RFID-Tag. I’m wondering if there are differences in the Qualtiy-Factor and Substrate-Coupling. The MIM has to store the rectified RF-Energy and to act as a power-supply for the logic-part of the chip.
Can anyone give me a hint which density I should prefer?
