So, when I created a milkyway library with a reference library, it says that the Reference Library is Inconsistent With Main Library.

Warning: Inconsistent Data for Layer 43
Main Library (mw) | Reference Library (CORE90GPLVT)
Layer Name CB2 | CB
Mask Name (null string)| via7 (MWLIBP-319)
Warning: Inconsistent Data for Contact Code 2
Main Library (mw) | Reference Library (CORE90GPLVT)
Upper Layer M2 (50, 5) | M2 (5, 5) (MWLIBP-324)
Warning: Inconsistent Data for Contact Code 32
Main Library (mw) | Reference Library (CORE90GPLVT)
Upper Layer M2 (50, 5) | M2 (5, 5) (MWLIBP-324)
Warning: Inconsistent Data for Contact Code 28
Main Library (mw) | Reference Library (CORE90GPLVT)
Cut Layer CB (3000, 3000) | CB (1000, 1000) (MWLIBP-324)

Is it safe to ignore this? Or which file can I modify to correct it? Thanks!

Re: Milkyway: Reference Library Inconsistent With Main Libra

This can be safely ignored if you are not using the contacts which are having the different contact code numbers in the module/hardmacro. Just try to write out the technology file from the macro/sub-block and from current milkyway lib. If they doesn't match then you may need to request the macro owner to redeliver the bundle which matches your techfile. This generally happens if your target foundry is tsmc and you are using custom IP/HM designed in different layer stack.
