microstrip bandpass filter design

hi,
i want to design microstrip bandpass filter in HFSS. so tell me the first step, how can i find the co-ordinates value (length, hight, width of the substrate (dx, dy. dz)) for microstrip bpf, please give me particular equations to find co-ordinates value for the microstrip BPF.
if possible please provide me numerical analysis in detail for BPF.
