hello friends,
a signal is periodic with period T and number of samples in one period is N then what is sampling frequency and how to calculate this.

thanks n regards

f_sampling=1/(N*T)

The nyquiste theorem says that al least two times the maximum frequency of the signal.
But in the books there is a note that in real life it doesn't work. At least must be 4 times the maximum frequency.
Over here the telephine company uses 8 times.
so: f_sampling≥4*f_maximum_of_the_signal

I have a curiosity. What do you mean by the term N?

Bro N is number of samples in each period.

Bro calculate sampling frequency by formulae given above and just double it to satisfy nyquiest criteria.and sample the signal.
