Meaning of this notation

Hi,I have come across a paper in which this formula was used

I just want to know wht is the meaning of ds notation (w/L)c 1,2 in it?

Meaning of this notation

Perhaps the superscript "c" means "common", i.e. the common W/L ratio for both transistors N1 and N2 (if they actually have the same W/L ratio).
Difficult to guess without seeing the corresponding schematic!
