For the de2 altera kit, the max oscillator frequency is 50MHz.. Does this mean I can't download anything to the kit that works at higher speed? Thanks in advance

Hi, If you want to clock your design at an higher speed you have to use one of the pll. Go to the megawizard plug-in manager/IO/ALTPLL, configure it, add it to your design and you're done.
