FPGA max frequency...

For the de2 altera kit, the max oscillator frequency is 50MHz.. Does this mean I can't download anything to the kit that works at higher speed?

Thanks in advance

Re: FPGA max frequency...

Hi,

If you want to clock your design at an higher speed you have to use one of the pll. Go to the megawizard plug-in manager/IO/ALTPLL, configure it, add it to your design and you're done.

Regards,
Franck.
