max frequency of ddr2/ddr3

Hi all,
Whats the maximum frequency that ddr2 and ddr3 devices can operate at? from what i see, the max frequency of both r the same, but the difference seems to come only at the IO frequency. Correct me if i'm wrong.

DDR2 ranges from 400MHz - 800 MHz. Using overclocking it can go upto 1250MHz.
DDR3 : 1033-1600MHz. Using overclocking it can go upto double its max.
