Converting to C code for DSP from Matlab and Simulink. Which is more efficient? suitable?

We have discused this subjetc a lot .Just do some search !

"i only will tell you that the c code generated by the matlab compiler is useless for microcontrollers or dsps .Because of the Matlab data (matrix ) representation
You don't want to use this .On SIMULINK the code generated is specially designed to be "embedded "

That means even if i program using Simulink, i still need to C program it so that it'll run in the DSPs?
