can anybody share any tutorial or website links to understand and have clear knowledge of rs 232 please..

tell me what is the rs232 about ??
why is it used???
what is its advantage over the conventionally used ones... ???

RS232 is one of the standard for serial communication.
It is able to be used for long distance communication,
as compare to using parallel.

For basic concept of serial communication,
