Hi,
We have an extended phy (marvell 88E1111) connected to our marvell switch (mv88E6046) port 9. By default ., PHY comes up and auto negotiates to ONLY 10Mbps/Half duplex. We enabled the PPU on switch and able to see the same (port status register) . Not sure, why the default auto negotiation is landing at 10Mb/s even though we have right config from both h/w & s/w.
Later, when we try to force the PHY to 100 Mb/s (by altering the control register followed by PHY reset ) .,looks like link is coming up but that's not reflecting in registers (PHY Specific status register - Register 17, bit 10).
Looking for some inputs on the sequence to be followed for this PHY register configuration for having a successful auto negotiation above 10Mb/s.
Thanks in advance.
