I have a little robotics project that I will get working on (if I get everything right).

I want to creat custom gears for experimenting. Small gears are hard to purchase in variety of sizes.

One method that draw my attention is liquid plastic. But hardness is my question.

Is 80 on "Shore D scale" comparable to generic nylon gears?
