Make work easier – or TQFP64 stand

It is an idea of a simple base for SMD housings.
Such a base is an extremely useful item in the workshop. Unfortunately, it is quite an expensive thing to buy. Just a few hours is enough to make this device.
How was it made
The board was made in Eagle, with minor corrections in Paint and digested. Copper return springs of hands were taken from the car insides of analog gauges. Despite of they are quite problematic to solder, the width and flexibility makes them ideally suited for this purpose. A thin paper strip was put between each spring to protect them against short circuit. Then it was flooded with thermoglue.

This looks very scary! Here it is some nice examples. Use hot air solder station to easy desolder.
