magnet_placement command in dc_compiler

I'm using dc_compiler revision 2010.12-SP2. Does this revision still require an incremental compile in order to use the magnet_placement
command? I know on past revisions an incremental is needed for magnet_placement.

I believe that 2010.12-SP2 eliminates the need for an incremental compile for the multi_vth_constraint command, not sure if it also applies tomagnet_placement.

hi Tony,

I will suggest you .. to check the SOlvnet page regarding this. Synopsys always publish update training for every release .. in case there is any change version to version.
