Hi all,
Part of an advanced graduate project, I have implemented LTE uplink physical layer processing blocks (CRC, turbo coding, scrambling, modulation, etc..) for both transmitter and receiver using C/C++. Now I want to verify it on a DSP board. I am thinking TMS320C6713. The reason for selecting TMS320C6713 is because I am new to DSP programming and there is a book that seems to get high marks for DSP programming "Digital Signal Processing and Applications with the TMS320C6713 and TMS320C6416 DSK".

I am new to the DSP programming world and wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to go about it and suggested DSP boards. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,

TI board and related software are user friendly and easy to understand.
Download code composer studio (In short CCS and it is free).
Create a project in CCS. Add the source files to it.
Connect the board to pc. Download code onto board, run it and start debugging.

Hope this helps.
