temperature sensor

I wish to find information on temperature sensor...
types? methods for interfacing with microcontroller?

temperature sensor

hi! also i want to control temparature of my soldering iron.....
what kind of sensor do you suggest...+- 15 (or a bit more) degree error is acceptable............and its cost should't be very much....

temperature sensor

usually the soldering iron has a built-in probe, a thermocouple, that gives a voltage based on tip's temperature. you may try to use a spms to drive the iron, based on that voltage (tl494, uuc3842)

temperature sensor

there is just a heater in my soldering iron....
solomon 30W............
there is no thermocouple..

Re: temperature sensor

use a soldering iron head with temperature sensor and do a search in edaboard on weller ec-2002; you'll find a reference schematic.

hope this help,
