If you are using Quartus II from Altera, you can use that megafunction in the tool itself. You need not develop the code for FFT.

i have the book by U Meyer but there is no code of FFT in that book :-( please some body help me in this regard will be very thnakful ...

U Meyer has no complete VHDL prcoessor code, but important detail examples. If you gonna code the FFT yourself and not use a core, you should possibly understand the mathematics behind it. Meyer is apparently addressing readers who go this way.
