software loses adc

Looking for a low count parts panel meter just foud this project. Can any of you let me know where the mistake is. Perhaps the author wrote down the wrong PIC name?, or the 16F84A has a hidden ADC?.

No My Friend it is relly a PIC 16F84 and as you know PIC16F84 has No ADC but
in this project the programmer play the adc by a software proceduare
Look at the OPAMP and Look at the software to see the proceduare of how he make the same PIN RA2 as output to short circute over the capacitor and the make
RA3 as input and calculating the chraging time which respect to the ADC
i think i'd help
Thanks

Thanks so much friend, that´s a smart procedure. Do you know the measurement precision using this integration method?.

If you want to know more about it search for AN700 (app data pdf) from Microchip.
