I have a prjoect that 3 other members and myself are working on, we are trying to build an elevator but are having difficulty with the PLC ladder program.
I have been able to make the cab move to the very top of the shaft and again to the very bottom. my problem is that I can't figure out how program the simulation to make the cab stop at a designated floor. I have experimented with timers and counters to make the motor stop but again I can't figure out how to make the cab stop at the right floor. any advice?
