lna design basics

hi all
i want basic info abt lna
i want to know ow to make lna starting from the basics using transistors(CMOS) please explain everything clearly in detail

Re: lna design

Well this is too general question to be explained in details in a few lines. Try some tutorials on the web or download a demo of a rf design software and look at it's tutorials/examples. If you are serious about designing this system and others you may want to buy a book too.

Re: lna design

You need to read a good book. Like "Microwave transistor amplifiers, analysis and design" 2nd ed. by Gonzalez.
Some of the involved topics are:

- gain definitions
- stability circles
- conjugate matching
- constant gain circles
- constant VSWR circles
- biasing
- constant noise circles
