Referring to Fig 15 of LM231 datasheet of TI. I tried to build the circuit as it is, but with Vs=5V instead of 15V. The frequency output vanishes as soon as VIN is >3V. Why? Now how to correct the circuit. I am looking for VIN -> 0 to 10V and Fout-> 0 to 10kHz

Datasheet has the answer: Input common mode range is -0.2 to Vcc-2 V.

You'll use a suitable voltage divider to reduce 0..10V to e.g. 0..2.5V

Thanks FvM. One more question. Is there any calculator for deciding the value of RL and CL. Why it is particularly 100K? and derivation of formula for FOUT.
