I am working on a video transmitter with operating input voltages between 6v-12v. The unit draws 220mA and has an integrated 5V out rail that I will pull an additional @380mA. My main concern is that the unit stays powered for as long as possible but due to my size constraints it can only accommodate 1000mAh - 1100mAh lithium-ion pack. My question is, which would be best suited for this project, a single cell (3.7v with booster) or a 2 cell (7.4v) li-ion pack?

Thanks!

Anyone have any input on this?
