i don't know much about linux. I want to know what can be discussed in this "Linux software" sub forum.

I understand that embedded systems can be developed on Linux operating system. Linux operating system can be run on embedded systems. generally i call it embedded linux. Raspberry Pi is one such example where the operating system runs on the ARM processor.

Also look through our General Computer section for threads which mention 'alternative to Windows', etc.

Got it I mostly want to know about embedded linux.

I don't have a good use case to understand the benefits of embedded linux. I haven't found a single project yet that I can work with for embedded linux.
