Line follower robot sensor problem.

Can i make a Line follower robot using LDR or IR Receiver (i don't want to use phototransistor as mention below)and Atmega series microcontroller (Atmega8 or 32 or 48 ,these uc i have).Please give me some idea + reliable site.
####The voltage across the phototransistors are same and current is changing in mA range when light intensity increase or decrease upon the phototransistors.

you can do it using IR keeping transmitter and receiver close to each other at some angle and very close enough to the ground of about 2 mm above the ground.........
 

sure you can. afterall they are all photo sensors.
