hi
in my project i need to make a power supply for sim900 module using 3.7V (850mAh) li-ion battery. can anyone help me please... sim900 requires 2amp peak current. I am thinking to connect 1000uF capacitor and 100nF capacitor parallel with the battery..
thanks

do i require LDO regulator if i am using the above battery?
please someone reply...

Hi devil6600 I suggest to use this battery LSH 20 D type they support up to 1.8A and you wont have to use any capacitor o LDO regulator they also have great capacity (13Ah).
Besides if you use the sim900 for GPRS or data the maximun current is 400mA so I think thats the best options.

Best regards...
