I planed to build a sign board using pic16f877a , can you any one help me

Heres a site that explains how the programming works.

I built a bigger one using 74hc595 chip and a pic16F628a. It worked but I think my next one I will use CD4017's instead. I already cascaded them so I don't think it will be a problem expanding the talking construction project.
