Hi,

I have a pin inside the module which actually is muxed to the scan mode pins of the flops. I want to add a constraint but since the pin is inside the module i am unable to do it. Please help.

LEC tool will constrain only the PI (primary inputs) and PO (primary utputs) for constraining because the aim of the tool is to evaluate equivalence between key mapped points and any pin inside the module is not a key point.
So, what you have to do is : You have to:-
1> add primary input XYZ -both
2> add pin constraint 0 XYZ -both
This will make XYZ as the primary input and then as the tool recognizes it to be a PI it will allow the tool to add a constraint.

What about add cut points ? Will that not work. Actually my concept of cut-points and LEC in whole is not very clear. Please help.
