LDV 5.0 on Cadence IC 5.1.41 linux edition

cadence ldv

Hi Guys, to install LDV on my Candece IC installation I need, untar file on Cadence directory or I must use another procedure another procedure ?

ldv 5.0

LDV50 and IC5141 are different software package. They should be installed in different directorys.
 

cadence ldv for linux

install it in some directory and then set the environment variable for invoking ldv from cadence icfb .
 

ic 5.1.41

target directory just like this:
/somewhere/cadence/ic51/......
/somewhere/cadence/ldv51/......
/somewhere/cadence/......

set environment to sreach all tools that you installed.
