AFAIK LDI provides many different coatings. You better ask LDI themselves.

LDI meaning Laser Direct Imaging or we would have Liquid photo imagible (LPI) the LPI is considered polymer
but not sure about the other LDI

Oh sorry! Misunderstanding by TLA (three letter abbreviation) ;-)
LDI (Liberty Diversified International) also is a well known coating provider.

For Laser Direct Imaging photo resists are used which are sensitive to the laser light wave length. Probably these are polymers, but I'm not sure.
