please do help me, my project is temprature sensor... but lcd is not giving me the requred output...
 

I think you probably have not configured the LCD.
However, if you can explain the way you want it to work, you may get help.
 

Post your schematic and code.

Make sure you have a pot that allows the contrast of the LCD to be adjusted. Adjust the pot to adjust the contrast and at some point, the blocks should be gone. Of course, this is assuming that the LCD configuration is okay and also that the code itself does not send "blocks" to the LCD.

So, before trying to figure out where the fault is, you must show your schematic and code.
