I realize that this is a holy war kind of question, but.....

What color and stipple schemes are good for asic layout? I'm going to be doing a design review where I'm going to be showing a layout with some metal layers, contacts, and poly. I want my graphic to be readable and not distracting, but I'm just not sure what colors to use to achieve that.

I'm not a layout engineer (obviously) so I haven't developed an opinion or scheme for what I like best.

Note, I didn't ask for the best color scheme. I'm just looking for something that is clear and generally acceptable.

This will help :
NWELL/PWELL/PSD/NSD - Light colors, During review you can set the visibility to nil as this wont matter for routing
POLY - Yellow
Met1- Green
Met2 - Pale Blue
Cont - White
Active Area- Purple (Dotted)
VIA - White (Dotted/lined to differentiate with CONT)
