Is the Xilinx ISE sw only a temp license?

Hi,

I have seen that the Quartus sw offers only a sw subscription and must be renewed in some time.
Is the Xilinx ISE sw also only a temp license?

The Xilinx ISE needs Serial Number to install no license needed.

Yes, Xi1inx ISE only needs serial number.
As to @ltera, some license will expire, some will never but won't work with
new version of SW.

after you bought, you can update your software free charge during one year, after one year,you can continue to use, but if you want to update, you have to pay.
