Pls look at the Load Impedance calculation. The answer is given in the shaded (gray) box. Is the answer CORRECT? If YES, pls advise how to get it. The answer I got is ZL = 3.26 + j2.02. Pls advise. Thanks.

Did u mean the answer for ZL in gray is CORRECT?

My calculation:

ZL
= V1 / I
= 240 / (53.1 - j32.9)
= 3.26 + j2.02

Pls advise.

your answer is correct... i think there was only an error in the conversion on the part of the author. the impedance in polar form obtained by the author when converted to rectangular form is the same as yours...
