Hi,
I Want to make a IR Counter which the Distance Between Transmitter and Receiver are 6 meters And I don't Need Any Modulation or Code Sending for It.

The Trasmitter LED is MLED81 Which I Didn't Find any DataSheet for it!

I Had Tried Many Circuits But None Of them worked.
Would You mind Helping me How to Build Very Simple IR Transmitter And Receiver
for 6 meter Range Only for Counting Purposes.

Thanx in Advance

Why do u use infrared?? You can make with bright leds. All u have to do is replacing a lens infront of the led.. Receiver circuit is so simple...You can make it with 741 opamp IC and LDR...

u can use tsop1738 as receiver and a 38khz signal with some burst freq as transmitter signal and this will work for more than 6m
