hi,

I designed simple subharmonic mixer using ADS.

I want to find IP3 value for subharmonic mixer. In subharmonic mixer , the mix terms are different.

Could I use the same IP3 formula for subharmonic mixer?

If no, Please give the formula to find IP3 .

The currents in the diodes of a subharmonic mixer are different than the currents in a standard fundamental mixer. As such, the equations for the mixer operation do change. For instance, an antiparallel diode mixer will enhance some harmonics and intermods, while degrading others.

But if you are using a modern non-linear program, and model each diode seperately, then the results should accurately predict this.
