inverter nominal current

Hey guys,

I want to know whether the nominal current of the inverter must be equal to the nominal current of the distributed generator connected to it.
 

I mean, is that possible to have a nominal output current of the inverter equals to 200 A with a power of 9 kW? It is a single phase inverter!
